Lamborghini and Aston Martin DB9 in showroom. Beautiful. $125USD raffle ticket. Did not buy. Small airport. Next flight 5 hours doha to dar es salaam. 2 movies: district 9 and man on fire. Tired. Sleepy.Time difference between dar es salaam and perth: 5 hours. Not huge. Hot and humid in dar es salaam. Showed yellow fever vaccination certificate. Took a while to find luggage. Did not recognise it shrink wrapped. Opened baggage for quarantine inspection. Showed lincs letter. Bought sim card and credit.
6 hour taxi ride to teule hospital, muheza. Arrived at dark. Long taxi ride, scary at night. No electricity at teule that night. Settled in, very hot. Met robert, kalpesh, helen, pamela who are uk students at teule for elective. No running water. Went out to muheza moonlight cafe and had omelette / chips! Supposed to be good. But feeling a bit nauseous. Will try again sometime. Conversation by candlelight. Uk students told us about getting around in teule and muheza. Hard to sleep at night, no electricity to power fans. No running water. Shower with bucket. Flush with bucket.
